Our first test of the season took place on an abnormally warm April 8th, 2001.  The weather was a perfect 20 degrees and sunny. 

The main objective of the test day was to give the car a good shakedown following the winter rebuild so we could go to the Spring Fling test weekend and work on the performance.

The test was a huge success as no major problems came to light and the car handled great straight off.  We spent the whole day lapping and checking for structural and mechanical soundness.  We wrapped up and were on our way by  4:00 pm.
